The goal of the Summer School for Women in Political Methodology is to strengthen the methodological skills and professional network of young career researchers who identify as women. To encourage applications from different universities and backgrounds, we offer fellowships for successful applicants.

The fellowship in 2019 covered:

  • Full tuition costs to attend Summer School
  • Food: Five lunches, two dinners, coffee breaks
  • Travel reimbursement (up to 250 CHF)
  • Accommodation for the duration of the Summer School (30 June to 06 July) Please note: Accommodation will be either with Zurich-based participants or in shared rooms of two. Alternatively, you may also receive the equivalent value in stipend to arrange accommodation privately.

The Summer School for Women in Political Methodology has supported by the University of Zurich’s Department of Political Science, the Graduate Campus of the University of Zurich and the Center for Comparative and International Studies.

The 2022 edition will be funded by the University of Basel. Specific information on the fellowship will follow soon.
